Become an IVHQ Ambassador and encourage others to sign up to volunteer abroad! You’ll help our community projects to continue their great work by motivating more people like you to sign up to volunteer, and you’ll benefit too by earning discounts off your next trip with IVHQ!
As a past IVHQ volunteer you’re automatically entitled to a 10% discount off your Registration Fee for your second (and third, and fourth, and fifth…!) programs. By encouraging others to volunteer abroad, you can also earn credits yourself towards your next trip with IVHQ. Recruit enough friends to go with you and your whole trip could be paid for!
If you want to start earning IVHQ credits, we have two options to choose from:
01 IVHQ Referral Program
Encourage your friends, co-workers, family members, or fellow students to volunteer with IVHQ!
Once you’ve completed one volunteer program with IVHQ you’ll be enrolled automatically into the IVHQ Referral Program and receive your own personal referral code through your MyIVHQ account.
Give this referral code to anyone you think might be interested in applying to IVHQ. For each person who uses this code and then registers for an IVHQ program:

When you register for your next trip, you can use your accumulated credits to get a discount off the cost, plus you’ll also benefit from the 10% discount off your Registration Fee that you’re entitled to as a returning volunteer.

02 IVHQ Ambassador Program
Are you studying at university and want to advocate for volunteering abroad to other students? Or are you part of a community group that’s interested in joining a volunteering abroad program?
If you think you can find at least 10 other people to volunteer with IVHQ, either individually or as part of a group trip, then you can apply to become an IVHQ Ambassador.
We’ll give you training on how to promote IVHQ’s volunteer programs and marketing materials to help you recruit our future volunteers. You’ll be expected to organize table sessions, hand out leaflets, and put up posters in order to promote IVHQ’s volunteer programs.
For every volunteer who registers, you’ll earn $50 in IVHQ credit towards your next trip – plus they’ll benefit from a 10% discount off their Registration Fee.
Encourage enough people to volunteer with IVHQ and you could end up with a free trip for yourself!

How it works:
Apply to become an IVHQ Ambassador by completing the form below.
If you’re accepted onto the program, you’ll receive your own Ambassador referral code that you can give out to friends, family members, co-workers, or fellow students.
Each time someone you’ve referred to IVHQ registers for a program using your referral code, you’ll get a $50 credit into your MyIVHQ account, and they will get a 10% discount off their Registration Fee!
Refer 10 volunteers and you’ll get a $500 discount off your next IVHQ trip! Refer 20 volunteers and you’ll have a $1000 discount available!
As an IVHQ Ambassador, you’ll also become eligible to receive IVHQ goodies – printed brochures to hand out, branded t-shirts and baseball caps, and more!
Key things to know:
You need to have completed at least one volunteer program with IVHQ to be eligible.
You must not post your referral code online. It is for you to pass on to people you have personally encouraged to volunteer with IVHQ.
Credits you have earned will show in your MyIVHQ account as soon as someone has registered using your referral code. However, they will only become redeemable once that person has paid their IVHQ Program Fee.
Your referral code can only be used by people who have not already applied to volunteer with IVHQ.
